In 1994, with a deep love for chess and a vision for education, Chess Ideas was founded in Melbourne, Australia. What began as a small endeavor has blossomed into a thriving community, teaching over 1,500 students across more than 70 schools each year. We’re proud to be part of Melbourne’s educational landscape, helping kids discover the joys and challenges of chess while developing essential life skills along the way.

With 30 passionate and experienced coaches—some of whom are chess masters and grandmasters themselves—we provide personalized guidance that helps every student grow.
